It looks like TomTom have released some new maps today (I think it is today anyway).
For my OneV2, Home is now offering me version 720 maps. |

Bu er. I'm still in my 30 days limit but used up my latest map guarantee to get version 715.
If anyone gets version 720, can you tell me if Guernsey appears on it please? Jersey was added to version 715 (or maybe 710) but not Guernsey. If it has now been added I could be tempted to buy it. _________________ TT Go Essential |

I've just finished downloading the UK maps and it looks like it is - I can browse to there anyway. I used St Peter Port as the town to search for and if you can give me a post code/street then I can search on that if it helps.
Edit to add a couple of images

Cheers, on version 715 you can only see the outline of the island and St Peter Port is marked on it. But there are no roads. You could try postcode GY4 6JL. But the postcodes might not have been updated. you could try Queens Road, Kings Road, Smith Street.
I've given you english names because Garmin couldn't get the french names right, although TT seems to have got the Jersey ones right.
Or if you can browse to St Peter Port, can you zoom in and see if any roads show. If they do, then we are finally on the map, as we were on Navteq maps ages ago. _________________ TT Go Essential |

TomTom have today announced the availability of the v.7.20 maps from the Map Shop as well as the v.8.05 maps for the GOx30 users.
All existing map versions that were previously available from the shop have now been replaced with the new v.720 maps for all PND’s except the GOx30 series. GOx30 owners can now buy new map version v.8.05. Anyone contemplating a map purchase is advised that the maps are device dependent and therefore it is important that you select the exact device model you own to ensure you receive the correct map.
The 7.20 and 8.05 maps are based on TeleAtlas 2008.01 data.
The 6.75 maps will remain available in the Map Shop for NAVIGATOR 6 users and Automotive units (Eclipse, Daihatsu, Toyota) Note: Rider and Rider 2 users can now buy the new v.720 maps (premium maps) from the map shop. _________________ Darren Griffin |

The postcodes don't work - though knowing my luck when I get new maps, TT hasn't updated the postcode files. There were no GY postcodes listed at all.
Street names do work though

That's fantastic, Thanks. Shame I hadn't hung on before using latest map guarantee, but I'll probably buy it anyway. _________________ TT Go Essential |

The TomTom website says of the GB & ROI maps "now with basic coverage of the Channel Islands". _________________ Anita

There is no mention of the Channel Islands on the Western Europe or Central & Western Europe maps on TTs website. I know Jersey is on WE 715. Is it possible for someone with WE 720 can confirm that Guernsey does appear on that version please?

If previous experience is anything to go by, you'll have to wait quite a few hours before anyone manages a complete WE or W+CE download! |

Can someone tell me if the A814 at the junction with ferry road in Glasgow still shows a roundabout or is the new junction shown, I'm not upgrading my map till this is fixed as it's a complicated new road system. |

Thanks Darren, I didn't think TT would put them on the GB map and not WE, but you can't be sure. I guess they just ran out of space to put it on the website. _________________ TT Go Essential |
