I'm beginning to think that I'm a complete idiot, but am I right in thinking that there is no way on the TomTom 520 to tell the level of battery charge, unless you get a warning that the battery is low? How do you tell when it is fully charged? I've searched the manual, and the home screen. Most battery-charged peripherals (iPods, PDAs, etc) have a battery indicator. Is there one on the TomTom, and if so, where is it? |

Well, only for posting this in the Speed camera database section!
Anyway.... yes, there is one. It's on the main route summary screen, the one you get just after you've calculated a route, before it goes back to the normal navigation display.
You can also get to it at any time by tapping the signal strength bars on the main screen.
However, it's still not very good. It tends to look half full just before it dies (although it does turn red IIRC)..
EDIT: Aah, I just see you HAVE posted this in the TomTom section too.

If you press the satellite indicator in the bottom right hand corner to show the Status Summary screen there's a battery indicator in the top right hand corner. Don't know how accurate it is though! _________________ Anita
