Hi,
I had a small fall on my mountain bike at the weekend, unfortunately my active 10 got knocked and the screen is damaged (and no not the outer cover).
Has anybody had theirs replaced by Satmap? Any idea of the cost?

I'd suggest only Satmap can advise on that. Might it be covered on Household contents?

Sounds like it was a bit more than a "small fall" Craig! 
I must admit - i too came off my bike over the weekend and my first thought on getting up was "My Satmap", it was only after giving it the ok that i noticed the pain, blood and guts coming from my leg!  Satmap's ok though.
Good luck getting it repair - would be interesting to know the repair cost's ect - if you could keep us informed...? |

Someone had the glass cover over the screen replaced by Satmap here and was charged relativly little as a gesture of goodwill. Is it this cover that you have damaged or is it really the screen?

Must have been quite a shunt to damage the main screen under the "protective" cover. I have never considered either the cover or the screen to be sufficiently robust. Was this a "freak" accident, in that it was an unusual combination of circumstances that's unlikely to happen to someone else, or have you unwittingly uncovered a weakness in the "protection"? |

Unfortunately is was the screen  I'll give Satmap a call and see what they say. If its a lot I may see what my household insurance covers.
