Hi Tomtom 720 available here.

for £150 through Amazon via Pixmania from France
What are the drawbacks buying from Pixmania from France?
Semms too good to be true?

Hi, I think if you check the link again the product comes from Pixmania Uk who are part of DSG (Dixons) as is the French company

Still £150 after they have been trying to sell this item at around £180 to £199 for the last few weeks makes you wonder why the sudden price drop again. Do they know something about the new 730 that we don't?
When are the rest of the retailers going to follow suit?

I don't know if you meant without delivery or not...

But it's now telling me it is only:

£139.99

Now that is SILLY SILLY CHEAP for a Go 720, even if sourced via France.

I paid nearly £100 more than that just a mere two month ago, at the then very cheapest retailer possible.

Just ordered mine.£139 +£7.20 p+p i cann,t see it getting any cheaper!!!!!!

Just a quick word of caution though, the x30 units shipping via Pixmania France have been pre-installed with the Euro voices, no UK voices for the excellent Text To Speech.
This problem shouldn't be as larger problem though for the 720 but you might have some messing around removing/ replacing folders and files on any device purchased this way - Mike

Looks like they have realised their mistake. It's back up to £189 this morning but I don't feel to bad, paid £175 delivered for mine from Halfords.com in January Very Happy

Not long had an e-mails from Amazon and Pixmania saying my Order has been cancelled due to "Out Of Stock" and a refund will be made to my Credit Card.

Sent them a snotty email, but not holding my breath for a positive outcome.

Did anybody manage to get one?

If nobody did get one are they not in breach of any trading law, buy advertising a product at a price that they are not willing to sell it for?

Did you grab a screen image at the time of ordering showing the device was in stock? - I usually keep pictures like this for a week or two with any internet based transaction - Mike
