You need to edit the indicator.xml file again and add the extra 9 to the two strings. |
Yeah, but we shouldn't have to, should we!
When I saw they had done a new version, I assumed they must have seen our discussion (or had it pointed out to them by loads of people - I did)
My point was, its ONLY function is to count the corrections, what else was there to change, yet still leave it wrong! |
You expect to much from them, It took the brain dead Muppet's weeks to produce this you can't expect them to get it right as well.
My 720 is only running application 7.221 but according to Home I have 7.481 installed and haven't even downloaded it or the previous 7.480 but Home says my device is up to date. _________________ Graham.

I've been looking at the indicator.xml file this morning and I can't see any changes at all. Is it possible that its actually taken them weeks to just change the version number? |

Can't say I've noticed any great differences with the new voice files either....
EVERY file in the "Kate" and "Simon" folders is exactly the same size as the ones I had before the "update" |

Andy, when you installed the firmware upgrade for your TT, did you have to download (again) the computer voices and re-install them or did the new voice files get dl as part of the firmware upgrade itself? |

Neither!
I still haven't accepted their kind offer of v7.481... I'm still running v7.221.
But the voices were shown in the same list when I selected "Update my Go"
So I was offered:
the 7.481firmware
a map (because this isn't the PC I originally downloaded it on)
some Mapshare corrections, and
the two voices.
I deselected the firmware and the map (I really don't want to download THAT again if I can help it!) and took the rest.
But as I say, just like the Counter add-on, there seems to be no actual difference at all. |

Interestingly the 2.3.0.70 is also picking up my O2 XDA Orbit with TT V6 as well as the TomTom Go 720.

You don't need to click on "Update" for Home updates...
It actually downloads it automatically without even asking, and only when it has finished does it ask you if you want it!
You can see it doing it because a progress indicator bar appears in the bottom right corner of the Home screen.
Thr TT servers were down for a while this afternoon.
Try firing up Home again (maybe you need to log on too?) and just leave it connected for a while. |

My previous version of TTH was offering me a camera update along with Kate & Simon.
Box then popped up offering new version of TTH. I said yes.
Installed okay, restarted PC for safety but now TTH will not login.
So no camera update.
Today I also added a 8Gb SDHC card. I assume TTH cannot see these?
EDIT: Their login servers seem to be working again. |

TTH 2.3 still reackons my 520 is a 720 in "Operate my Go". No change there then, what a surprise.
I realise its not important, just more of the same like the mapshare counter not working properly. _________________ iPhone4 IOS 4.3.3

xda I've edited your image for two reasons. Firstly we were concerned that the code in the line for your Orbit might be your IMEI which you don't want displayed for all to see so I have pixelated it.
And secondly we have a 400pixel width limit here and yours was nearly three times that! _________________ Darren Griffin |
