Is this one you have made yourself? Are you sure it is the right size and format? _________________ Darren Griffin |

You haven't called it "splashw.bmp" have you, just call it "splashw" the bmp bit is what the computer file type is. _________________ Audi A3 Sline sat nav |

The correct filename IS splashw.bmp
Some image editors may automatically add ANOTHER ".bmp" on the end of the name you supply whether you've typed it or not (giving rise to files misnamed as "splash_w.bmp.bmp") but others don't.
(That's not YOUR problem, is it wagundo?)
If you have your Explorer view settings correct (to show all extensions) it's never a problem. You can SEE what the full filename is.
In either My Computer or Windows Explorer:
Go to the 'Tools' Menu,
Select 'Folder Options'
Select the 'View' tab
Scroll down the list of entries and UN-tick "Hide extensions for known file types"
(While you are there, you could also TICK 'Show hidden files and folders" too. While not strictly necessary, this will let you see EVERYTHING on your PC's and TomTom's storage). |

Thats what I was trying to say Andy, you just explained it better, . He doesn't type "bmp", the computer does that for him, if he does call it splashw.bmp the computer will call it splash.bmp.bmp _________________ Audi A3 Sline sat nav |
