Just spotted it. Check your "update" link inside the software. |

seems fine with 920 on xp home (dowloaded gpsfix, mapshare etc.)
no major changes visible from outside, I guess the new release has much to do with 930 and navcore 8 |

Also cures the 930 no TTS Voices problem, as soon as 930 connected it offered download of the missing UK voices
I took off the temporary 920 voices patch I had on my 930 and reset it to a full unused backup connected to Home 2.3 and it downloaded the correct TTS voices for the 930, so that is that problem solved.
Still cannot use the navigate to spoken destination option as still greyed out on the 930
Can any of the mods who have been road testing the pre release 930s confirm if the navigate to spoken destination option is available on the versions they were supplied? |

Neither does Simon's..."Error when contacting server: Not found"
Well done TomTom, another triumph! |

There is also a new version of the MapShare Corrections Counter Add-on. Now v1.2, was v1.1.
You have to get it manually, from the Tools Menu and, guess what.......?
It doesn't cure the 99999 corrections bug! If it doesn't count right, what else DOES it do? |

It makes sure posters such as yourself are kept busy detailing their screwups!
After all, if TomTom EVER did get it right, think of what posts here would look like:
"Hello, how are you?"
"Fine. How are you?" |

Vicky, the ASR works fine for nav to spoken adress and dialogue mode, although no ASR likes my accent, so I try it then avoid using it as tapping the screen is faster from my experience (it doesn't like Northerners), there must be other files which are messed up on the device, although I might be running a different software version to your unit - Mike |

You need to edit the indicator.xml file again and add the extra 9 to the two strings.
Just done mine and Home is showing 101,256 MapShare updates. _________________ Graham.

Yeah, but we shouldn't have to, should we!
When I saw they had done a new version, I assumed they must have seen our discussion (or had it pointed out to them by loads of people - I did)
My point was, its ONLY function is to count the corrections, what else was there to change, yet still leave it wrong! |

Looks like I may have to apply for that experienced mozilla developer job that they have, after all. If they can't get simple stuff like that fixed they obviously need a bit of help. |
