I keep offering to come back home to NZ to check out a few cameras but they don't take the bait...

Below your name on the left you will see a forum rank that increments with post count. Lifetime Members can choose to dispense with this and display Lifetime Member instead.
This is an opt-in system as some prefer not to advertise it but as you have posted here I thought you may wish me to change your rank. Not compulsory but if you do just say the word.
We only introduced this recently as we were fed up with the number of posts complaining that they hadn't got what they deemed their 'right' and calling us scam artists. So we thought it'd be nice to give everyone some proof that such members do exist
