Is it not under warranty?
I know in some cases you can upgrade from this to the S50 or S90i with Navman |

I have just bought a new larger capacity battery from ebay This Item to be precise: title: Extended Battery for Acer N35, Navman Pin 570 1600mAh
Removing it was simple, lift the two black screw covers and remove the 4 screws, I slid my thumb nail round the joint and it popped right open, a little fiddly to remove the case, then a few more screws to lift off the circuit board, be carefull as there is a white lead to unplug to remove the board and the screen can be left attached.
Remove/unplug the old battery and all of its cover (you need the room).
Thats it all out and ready to refit.
Refitting is a bit more fiddly imho.
Plug in the battery fit it in exactly the correct position (I used photo mount spray to ensure it stayed in place but any non instant glue will do the job) then replace the board ensuring it fits correctly all around or it will bend when the screws are fitted. tighten down the screws and refit the body and the 4 screws. Almost done, if you removed the 2 black screw covers carefully then you can refit them and switch on. 15/20 minutes of your time well spend, battery life if much better |
