Have you tried resetting the device with a paperclip? - Mike |

Hmm - I have the "Unable to save map settings" error and the TT unit regularly resets itself with the TMC unit connected.
Using GPRS traffic there is no problem.
First occurred with the 7.2 version of firmware, upgrade to 7.4 hasnt helped. |

Last time I had this error there was a corrupt file on the device - try restoring from your backup after deleting all files on the device.
Assuming you do have a full backup through explorer, not TT Home.

When I was a RDS-TMC newbie (just a few weeks ago) I suffered this. Turned out very simply I hadn't shoved it in far enough - I found almost a double click of it connecting and when I pushed it all the way in, it came to life. _________________ Dennis

Do you know anyone local with a TomTom device you could plug your receiver into, at least this will establish whether the fault is with the RDS device or the Nav unit - Mike |
