|
|
Hi forum
My parents (just retired) are setting out in their 4 birth camper to travel accross France & Spain maybe some other parts of Europe later. We are wondering which type of Tom Tom is the best for them, I suggest tom tom as I have it on my pocket PC and they have used it and like the format. I have seen may versions - GO, ONE V1, V2 etc etc Can anyone tell me which is the best for the price and what the differences are?
Many thanks for any reply

Joe,
If you want to compare prices, you could check the following web site:-
http://www.bargain-satnav.co.uk/tomtom_go/tomtom_go_europe_series.htm
For the price, you could do a lot worse than the TT One EU version. Unless you want all the extras, in which case it might be worth stretching the budget to the GO720.
I have some friends who have the TTOne (UK) and they are very happy with it. Just bear in mind that the screen is quite a bit smaller on the TTOne device. If you get a chance, go down to your local Halfrauds and see if you can get a demo on the EU versions on the page linked above.
Cheers
