before really doing research to find the right gps pda for me i ended up purchasing a mio p550 from ebay. i thought it was a good deal and they said it just needed a new battery. what i have found out thanks to several forums was that it needs a reflash or something similar to that. I did not get any software w my purchase so my computer dosent even recognise what it is. Mio has not givin me much support because its not brand new. I cant find anywhere 2 download the usb drivers there are many places that have the file but not the actual program. can anyone help ??? |

All you will need on the PC is Active Sync to communicate with the PDA, you can download this for free from THIS Link - Mike |

Go to Start - Settings - System - SysInfo - Clean Boot - Start and using the pop-up keyboard enter 0 0 0 in the code - OK.
Should go back to factory settings.
If you do have to change the battery, be aware it is stuck quite firmly with some sort of double sided sticky tape, Ease it very gently, one side then the other, with a small flat implement, until it eventually pops out. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

I would suggest running spikes to be a more suitable alternative to your coat. |
