When I try to install a program using AS, I'm given the option to choose the location but SDMMC and Resident Flash are shown as "unavailable" and only the main memory can be reached.
Any suggestions? |

Resident flash should not be chosen, this is normally reserved for system files. If you are not given the option to select the storage card, do you have a storage card inserted? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Yes, Darren
I have 8GB SD inserted and I can reach the data on it using either oasis or TC.
When i change USB client to serial, ActiveSync recognizes my iPaq and asks me if I want to install the program in main memeory. After I refuse I'm given several options but as i said before RF ans SD are "Unreachable.
I've seen someone on GPSPassion asking the same question but haven't found the answer.
Could this happen due some settings |

What OS is your desktop and what version of AS? if you're running Vista then you need to use WMDC (Windows Mobile Device Centre) rather than ActiveSync? _________________ Darren Griffin |

My OS is Win XP and the AS is version 4.5.5096.0 but as I said I have no problem running the program or connecting the device.
My proglems begin AFTER that by being denied access to the memory card from the AS. |
