Forgive me for posting a hardware question on a software forum but this seems to be the only one dedicated to ViaMichelin.
I accidentally left the soft plastic disk of the car kit for my 980T attached to the windscreen of a hire car in Rome last week and need to get a replacement. The VM website only has complete kits (which it says are only compatible with the "New Edition" whatever that is; mine is 10 months old) and I really don't want to pay €69 to replace something that only cost a few pence. I can't find anybody on the net selling spares. I have phoned the VM customer service number (0870 735 0360) which appears to be in France and all they could suggest was to look at a search engine called lamaisondugps.com which was no help.
Surely a reputable manufacturer ought to be able to supply spares for something that is less than a year old. Does anybody have any ideas of how I can get hold of the part?
Thanks

Hi and welcome.
This forum is for anything GPS related to ViaMichelin so no problem.
Stuart Derricott (alias Deepfour on here) used to work for VM until recently and I'm sure he did offer to try and help out with any spares or bits and pieces he had lying around.
He's a very helpful chap, now working for another GPS company, and I'm sure if you sent him a PM he would try his best.
