Hi! We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

OK, now try again with the MapShare updates...
I agree, it never ceases to amaze me how quickly a forum topic can be driven completely off the point.
I note that recent changes I have made in respect to incorrect speed limits haven't been included especially since they were shown on TT as 40mph whereas they were changed to 30mph months ago!

They won't.... Not ever....
Mapshare in its current implementation can ONLY update the direction of traffic down a road (either both ways, one way or neither), change the name of a road, or add a new POI or correct the position of an existing one. THAT'S ALL.
Any thing else that you report via Mapshare is just that... a report that they will sit on and maybe use in a future map version that they will be pleased to SELL to you.
In other words, only the corrections on the FIRST screen you see are actually updated, everything else is just sent as info. Obviously this falls far short of the hype that the advertising would lead you to believe, but that's how it is.
Oh and by the way, the POI update part of Mapshare has been broken for ages too, so you can strike that of the very small list of features.
It burst into life for a day or so recently, after not working for months (and several "customer services" reps telling me complete porkies that it never worked) but seems to have gone silent again.
