Agreed! not normal at all. Fortunatly for me I'm not a trucker and don't drive for a living so only need TT on day's out, but this seems like a bug in the new software, which could be a problem for others. |

As you are on v7 software, you can always use the alternative method of putting all your warning sound .ogg files into the "sounds" folder on the TomTom. Then you can select them from the normal sound effects menu.
The only problem with this method is that with the default naming system PGPSW use for the camera files, you can't easily see which sound file you are choosing as the names are so long the important bit gets cut off the display.
Either do it by trial and error, or you can rename the files to put the speed/camera type at the front of the names, as they do not need to match the ov2 data files with this method. |

Hi Andy I tried this! I transferred the files as suggested to to the sounds folder and went throught the process off adding all warnings all seemed to work OK! GREAT! until I went out and all warnings were police siren no Liz
I have now copied a previous version of my mapsettings.cfg and have yet to try that on road. |
