|

Looking out of the window you would be forgiven for forgetting that Summer is fast approaching! And so, despite the rain pouring down outside, now is a great time to issue the rallying call to all you drivers (and navigators!).
The PocketGPSWorld.com Safety Camera database has earned a deserved reputation for accuracy in the five years it has been running and it is widely regarded as the most used, most trusted and best available in the UK.
A subscription to our database gives you access to safety camera data for a total of 38 countries world-wide including Europe, the US, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong and a few more besides.
However, we recognise that our database is not as complete in some countries as it is here in the UK and we won't rest until that imbalance has been addressed. So, in an effort to bring our quality database to as many users as possible in every country plagued by safety cameras we are today announcing a new Lifetime Subscriber award offer.
As of today, for qualifying reports of cameras outside the UK, non-subscribers will also now be eligible for Lifetime Membership. This means that there is now more opportunity than ever before to earn yourself lifetime access to our safety camera database for FREE!. Everyone who ventures into Europe with their car, caravan or motorhome, or who hires a car on holiday anywhere in the world can now get spotting and earn their reward.
And so you can proudly declare your membership of an elite club we will be making available stickers for you to proudly declare your membership of an elite club. Look out for our advertising campaign in magazines and on vans and trucks across the UK and the sticker offers very soon.

Darren,
Just wondering if the link to "Qualifying Reports" is OK.
When I click it I get the message on a blank page "Sorry, such file doesn't exist..." _________________ "A good scientist is a person with original ideas. A good engineer is a person who makes a design that works with as few original ideas as possible"

If they are at the printers already, Darren... shouldn't it be spelt "valuables"?

That's the second time today that your eyes have played trick on you Dennis.
Darren,
Are you still looking for a volunteer (aka mug) to help with their distribution?
My offer still stands and I think you're still fairly local, so a handover should be easy _________________ Andy

Without wanting to be the devil's advocate, is it a good idea to have a camera with a thumbs up next to it (remember people will see the pictures before reading the text). It could be taken that you are giving the thumbs up to the cameras. Round here, some cameras go a nice black/brown colour overnight and sometimes smoke . Wouldn't want that to happen to a car. _________________ Gerry

Darren, ... and now that I've read the announcement , is this for current subscribers or anyone?
First you say... Quote: | you DO NOT have to have an active subscription to be eligible for a lifetime subscription if your report is for a camera outside of the UK. |
then... Quote: | As before, you must be a current subscriber to benefit from this offer. |
Surely you must be a subscriber to be eligible. Otherwise, where did you get the database from? _________________ Gerry

You don't need to have a copy of the database to submit a camera.
In fact some non-subscribers have fallen foul of the requirement to be a subscriber when submitting UK cameras in the past. |
