On a bridge on the A19 the other evening I spotted a few police with different cameras pointing all over the place and a couple of bikes parked up, I registered the location and have just tried to submit the location to the database. There is already a camera there but its got a cross through it which I'm presuming means its ready for deleting, also it will not fill in the id number when I click on it. Do I submit this as a new mobile camera? _________________ Graham

I have submitted it as a new mobile location. Special thanks to the 8 of you who read it and couldnt be bothered to reply. _________________ Graham

Graham, to be honest from your description that sounds more like an ANPR check in progress rather than speed camera - Mike |

Ok, do I have to request its removal then? PS whether it was number plate checking or not it certainly brought everything to a crawl _________________ Graham

If you filled in the submissions comments field with similar information to that in your first post it will soon be picked up, also the fact there is a deleted camera at the same location might mean it is a known ANPR location - Mike |

Also probably best not to make the mistake of assuming that everyone who looked at your posting knew the answer but didn't reply. |

Really... Ok I see what your getting at but you as well as I know that "Linda36uk" will tend to get more replies than crazyhazy , so do questions from administrators, etc thats how forums are in general. _________________ Graham

I thought your comments were a little bit rude !!!
When somebody provides advice they do it because they think they are able to help you !!! nobody has a given right to expect an answer ??
You probably did not mean it to sound like that perhaps !!!and to be honest I have never seen a forum were on most occasions your questions are answered very quickly and most times by a member of the pocketgps staff or a verifier or moderator |

Humour is often lost in the bland text that a forum post uses, even the use of the "Emoticons" offers little to actually express ones self fully.
Just keep up the good work of submitting locations of cameras, it is appreciated and is for the benefit of all site members that use the database - the more detail that can be added to the database the better - Mike |
