Well it's been a little while since the last meetup, so if anyone's interested in getting together, lets have a few suggestions...
1) Did everyone like the previous venue up near Fleet ?
2) Would you prefer this as the next venue or a different venue ?
3) When ? |

Is it feasible to move around - and meet on a Saturday rather than a Sunday?
If there's a meet somewhere wheelchair accessible in the Bedfordshire / Buckinghamshire / Hertfordshire area, possibly also Cambridgeshire, Essex or Oxfordshire, and, ideally, it's not on a Sunday, I'll do my best to attend.
However, I'll see what I can do about anything that is proposed. It'd be good to meet some of the people here. Fleet is getting to be a little far for me to go "there and back again" in a day (and no, I'm not a hobbit), but looking at it again, it's mainly motorways from here (M1, M25, M3 if you're talking about the Fleet in Hampshire) so maybe 65 miles of that each way, assuming that we pick a time when the M25 isn't likely to be at its worst, is not as impossible as I first thought.

Yep would like to attend. Anywhere around M25 is good for me. Im in Kent but wonder if someplace around the top bit of M25 might be worth a look. Should be easy for people to get to as lots of mways come together there. Fleet would also be good for me.
Cheers

Dave,
I didn't go to the last one, so can't comment on the venue. Anywhere I can get to in an hour or so is good for me. I'd love to attend a meet but work/family commitments have prevented this so far. The more warning, the better. _________________ Tim |

I can't see why we couldn't do it on a Saturday. The main reason we chose Fleet is that it is a midway point for the team. Darren is around that area, Mike is from Essex and I'm from the New Forest so Mike and I have the furthest to travel.
Hook was about 45 miles for me (darn probably just given my location out) so I could go a little further.
The other alternative is to do split meetups where the whole team don't attend giving maybe a greater coverage area. |
