Just open it in any paint program you have on your PC (MS Paint at a pinch, it's included with Windows) and re-size the icon back to 22x22 |
Re-sized the redlight icon as suggested and displays fine now. It's a bit blocky and not as smoth as the other icons but clear and effective. Thanks |

They work "Perfick" on my TomTomOne (original) with 7.162 s/w
(Using Consolidated by type).
Well done Gerry and co, for the provisioning of these. Thanks.
Eh, there doesn't seem to be a set for European cams (consolidated). Are you suggesting that one should rename the UK versions, to include "_eu_" after removing the "_uk_" in the file name??
Cheers

Yes, you can certainly do that.
Just make sure the .bmp files names match the .ov2's |

It shouldn't be too bad! Did you stretch it out or just put some white space (7 pixels wide at each side if memory is correct). It should look similar to the various screenshots if it's got white space added. The 24x24 redlight is better than the 22x22.

Yep, do as Andy suggested. As there would not be any difference in icon design (unlike the speed zoned), the filenames can be edited as appropriate. I edited my site after Darren took a copy for here to say that (in the Notes section). _________________ Gerry

Just downloaded the excellent new icons find them very good, just one question, i downloaded both sets the 24s and the 44s, the 44s the icons in the top left of screen still look quite blurred, i was wondering if this was the 44 version or the 24 enlarged.
im running a tomtom one v2 with i believe version 6 software and im not sure if this is compatable with the larger sized icons ? |

TomTom v6 does not support the larger icons so what you are seeing is the 24 x24 icons magnified. The compatibility table on the download page does show that only the smaller icons are supported under v6. _________________ Darren Griffin |

24x24 and 48x48 all work perfectly on my TomTom One v2 (including the red light icon, which looks exactly like the image in the download page. Thanks Gerry.

Thanks very much Gerry, just downloaded and installed and looks good.Original 22 x 22 show up on the road and 44 x 44 show up top left of screen.
I assume that as i have the 22 x 22 files & the 44 x 44 files in the same map folder when i know update the 22 x 22 files will be over written by the currently downloaded 22 x 22 files thus leaving the 44 x 44 files untouched,or am i wrong and need to just copy and paste the 44 x 44 in the map folder again.

Just updated to TomTom.
Having installed the new speed camera database I managed to delete the "New" BMP files from my TomTom because I did not delete the BMP files from the download...and so had to download and reinstall the new ones again. I have an idea to standardise how I update in future - minimising the number of files to be deleted before instalation on to the TomTom ...and the possibility, (for me at least), of mixing up the two sets of BMP files...
Create a permanent folder on my computer - which only contains the "new" small icons.
Download the monthly updates and install everything into the map folder without deleting any BMP files - then copy over to the map folder the contents of your "small icon" directory ie on top of the wrong BMP files.
This avoids deleting lots of individual bmp files from the update download every month.
