From the Quick Start guide...
Quote: |
To enter a Zip code, start entering the code using the alphabetic keyboard.
If you require numbers select the ‘123’ button and when finished use the
back button to return to the keyboard. Once finished select your Zip code
from the list.
To select a town, entering the towns name using the alphabetic keyboard.
Select your town from the list and then choose either a street name, town
centre or place of interest (POI)
You will then start Navigating |
Does your address not appear on a list?
How many addresses have you tried?
Are you entering you full address or just the street name? |

Looking at the instructions are you not meant to enter the road first, THEN the house number? |

Reading the Quick Start Guide doesn't make it clear.
It says
Quote: | Tap the Select State button to choose the state where your destination is
located.
Then tap the Town, Street button to open up the address search.
It seems funny you have to select the ZIP code and then the town. They might be 2 seperate instructions, either enter a ZIP code OR select a town, but it doesn't make that clear..... |

You enter either the town or ZIP Code, not both. This is the order:
1. Enter State
2. Enter town or ZIP Code
3. Enter street name. Enter only "Elm" for Elm Street
4. Select street from list
5. Enter house number |

I purchased a Nav-Cam 7000 on eBay. I am very diappointed in it. It does not have all the streets, some which have existed since 1976. The interface is clunky and non-intuitive. The battery life is very short. When I chose a street in the city of Falls Church, VA, the location showed up in Montgomery County, MD. |
