Don't know if anybody may be of assistance but but i'm having a bit of trouble with my tomtom go 910 unit basically opened it up this morning switched on and it asked what map i wished to select usa or canada ? the box says that the unit includes europe including the uk but there is no option for this ?. I then proceeded to update the software via the new tomtom home and after succesfully updating the home screen keeps on giving the "SAM server error". The unit came with the europe product code so how do i update or install maps. |

Connect the 910 to the PC and use Windows Explorer to view the device, it will appear as a drive letter, open the drive by clicking it to reveal the contents, amongst the folders will be one called Western_and_central_europe check this is present a full map folder will be around 1,55GB in size - Mike |

The maps are only supplied installed to the drive, although as this is a re-con device it might be worth looking on the disk supplied.
You can download maps for the unit BUT these will cost money, I would look at sending the unit back for either a refund or replacement - Mike |
