Hi all. just bought a new Toyota Avensis, and wondered if it was possible to download the camera database onto it ?? Does anyone know.

Does the manual mention adding "user POIs" or similar?
Usually, I'm afraid Manufacturers built-in systms don't.
If you put "toyota avensis" into the "SEARCH" feature at the top, you'll find this question has been asked a few times before....

I have a friend who has a Toyota and, as far as we're aware, the built-in system is based on DVD rather than flash memory or memory cards.
It doesn't, therefore, seem to be possible to use anything other than the official Toyota databases, with the exception of the odd address, POI etc which is added manually _________________ Andy

As said in the previous post the Toyota is a DVD based system and I am 99% sure you cannot add them !!
I suggest you do a post on the Toyota owners club forum in the avensis forum !! |
