Hi,
I have the latest version of Route 66 with britain maps.
Is there anyway i can have it so it shows the speed limit on each road i go on.

No, Route 66 does not support this option currently, the road speed data would need to be contained within the map, and it simply isn't present. Perhaps a future map and software update might offer this functionality though?
About the best thing you can do with the unit is install the Speed Camera Database from this site to the device along with a set of spoken alerts so the device can at least shout out the speed camera types and relevant speeds as you are driving - Mike |

Mike, more help please. I understand that only the 2004 edition of Route 66 will work on an Apple Mac laptop/desktop. I have a 2003 which is OK on a Dell, but out of date. Route 66 don't appear to have anything in the online shop for laptops. |

I don't think they currently do any PC based software, about the only thing that springs to mind is possibly running the application on an emulator on the laptop, but I am not too sure that will be easy considering the platform you are using - Mike |
