Shhhh... Welcome, but there's no need to shout....
Have you seen the news topic HERE?
In the first post it says "Availability - The premium TomTom GO range will be available across Europe and the USA from the end of April 2008 and will differ per country. "
An American forum says:
Quote: |
"The two new models are the GO 730, with a suggested retail price of $449, and the GO 930 with a price of $499.
|
In the UK, the only advanced pricing I've seen is from Handtec who are trying to get people to pre-order a Go930 for £468.83 !
which is ridiculous if it is the same hardware as a 920... |

The 920 has not been available for very long in the UK, I would say 3 months?

Is the 930 just a 920 with new software and a slightly posher case, or have they upgraded the hardware as well. |

So one assumes then if you buy a 920t now then , by the end of the year you will be able in effect to completely upgrade it to the spec of a 930t? |

But the Go-x30t might well be different in terms of hardware based upon what can be found on the internet in the public domain, the actual device may well be the same but the receiver looks different to the usual offering and I am not making reference to the HD Traffic system which was announced at the show, a close look at some pictures/ text Here shows off and mentions the different components - Mike |
