Start Up and Shut Down Images

yes Andy, have original on a back up. tried resetting and starting from beginning. everything works great. except, when i try and add new start up and shut down images, the new start up image comes on for both start up and shut down. it's crazy.

So it HAS to be your image format.

What happens if you take the original image that DOES work, import it into whatever "paint" program you've been using and just alter it slightly (draw a red squiggle over it or something) then re-save it (somewhere else! so you don't overwrite the original) and put that on the Go.
