tom tom v3

when i plug my tom tom one v3 into my computer it recognises it as a external harddrive yet when i go via my computer to open up the E drive then there is no fils in the E drive \(this is what the tom tom when plugged into my computer is labbeled as the E drive)
I want to transfer some POI into my tom tom from my computer but i cant find the map file to do so.

any help

What you describe is what should happen and what everyone else does, so why you can''t see any files is a bit of a mystery.

Try this tick list, just so we are all doing the same thing:
1. connect the TT One "3rd Edition" to the PC
2. Start Windows Explorer
3. Switch on the TT and you should get a "do You want to connect to Computer" screen on the TT
3. Tap yes, and the PC should start recognising it
4. Windows Explorer should add a new drive letter with "TomTom" or something similar beside it
5. Double click on the TT icon
6. You should see a list of the folders opening out below the drive icon on the left pane and a list of folders and files in the right pane.

At this point your Explorer window is empty?

Is the device a Third Edition or something else, how many drive letters appear when you connect it to the PC, it might be a One with internal flash memory and a card slot ? - Mike
