Maphare use to work on the latest tomtom home version. Now when I try I get no new updates yet on the 1st home screen it says that I last updated 4 weeks ago and there are 2237 corrections to apply. The GPS fix works |

I had similar unexplainable problems with HOME for a few days. Turns out it appeared to be a connectivity issue between the TT servers & my HOME as all is working correctly now.
It might be worth leaving it a few days and trying again. _________________ Graeme Bennett

When this happened to me in the past, TomTom recommended that you use "remove all corrections" from the Home menus.
Try just removing OTHER peoples' corrections first, but unfortunately it didn't work for me until I deleted both other peoples' AND my own, which meant I had to re-enter all of the corrections that I had sent to them, (luckily, I always add errors I find to a POI category I call "map errors" too, so it was boring but not impossible to re-do it all). |

Do you add just the location of the error to the POI, or some notation about what the error was? I'm sure I couldn't remember all the details from just the location. |

Here's a few real world examples...
Quote: | New roundabout - reportedx2 still wrong v715
Barrier across Putney Hill, blocking St John's Av. reported x3
Elm Avenue blocked by bollards - reported x3
A249 sheppy crossing missing! ok now on v715
Beverley Road blocked off this end reported x3 |
I obviously don't usually get to write all that "on the spot". If I'm driving it usually just gets saved as a favourite with a word or two to remind me. Then I convert it to a POI entry later.
The "reported x3" bit is me trying to keep track of when I've reported it on an earlier map version and then had to do it again on the new one, and then had to do it again after they've told me to delete them all. |
