As I remembered it and I just checked again, you can't do a poll anywhere else on the forum exept in off topic. Only the team have the ability to set a poll anywhere else. I figured if I asked, I might get a "I don't think that's a good idea" responce, equallly if the team saw that it may prove useful they might have hijacked it and put it on the front page.
Only the PGPSW team have the ability to extend the 60 day jobbie and put it where they want it! _________________ Dom

Following a debate in another thread on the subject of Forum Ranks, we have now created a new 'Lifetime Member' rank. Read the thread here.
This is an 'opt-in' rank, those wishing to take advantage of it need to email me (darrenATpocketgpsworld.com) with the Subject Lifetime Membership Rank and ensure you include your user-name. I will then add the custom Lifetime Member rank to your profile.
It is important that you use the Subject Lifetime Membership Rank to ensure it gets through my anti-spam and I'll also need your user-name. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Forum polls, especially on this site, are notorious for the lack of responses. Sadly, I wouldn't hold out much hope for a growing response. Remember also that only a tiny proportion of our visitors will ever see this thread.
I would say that there are now several thousand life-timers. I personally added almost 1000 of them when it was first announced. _________________ Robert Brady |

Ho, Ho. 37 votes right now. Serves him right! I haven't done a poll yet (we really need some secret space where Aaaaaaaaaaaaaard Northern Numpties can try learning how to do polls without mostdom looking on to put us down when we ********* it up). OK, go find a Numpty smileycon, Mr Happy. _________________ Dennis

Shhhh!! I must never let any of them know how dumb I am - they look up to me as a sort of all-wise all-knowing benign father figure - it would destroy their faith in human nature and probably cause the world wide web to collapse. Isn't it bad enough that Bill Gates is no longer the richest man on the planet? _________________ Dennis

Numpty icon...
As I hinted-like earlier it would have been better on the front page but the powers that be obviouly didn't want to but I still think the idea is sound. I won't be applying an copyrights so you can put it on the news page. _________________ Dom
