I'll try a clean install later or next week, but it goes through the motions and then at the final stage it disappears and i'm presented with the Send Error Report to Microsoft / Don't Send option.
Obviously it might just be my PC but 2.4.1 works fine. |

Wished I had seen this thread before I updated my POI loader to 2.5. Hey and guess what? it keeps crashing everytime I use it. Can`t reinstall previous version as I have already deleted it. Desperately need to update my unit (Streetpilot i3 v3.4). Any ideas?

Old versions of POILoader are avalible here
As this is a third party collection you use them at your own risk. However i've used some of the old firmwares from there are they have been fine. |

Greetings
Any chance that they have reintroduced the WAV capability?
I am still using POI Loader v2.4.0 Beta on my 2720 as the POI version I've tried after that means that the unit reverts to Bing-Bong. Tried with the WAVs converted to MP3s but still bing-bong; the 2720 does not seem to recognise MP3 files - unless I'm missing something(?).
Regards

It appears from some testing that was done here a while back, if the unit doesn't have an MP3 Player function, it won't support mp3 alerts either. I don't think Garmin have / or will reintroduce wav alerts. |
