Is that the one in your signature? So it works on a PPC running TomTom v5? _________________ Darren Griffin |

quick suggestion:
nce you copy all the icons to the device you could right click each one and make the file read-only. then for future releases if you forget to remove the bmp's before copying them all it should not overwrite the readonly bmp's?

Thanks for all the thanks guys, it's appreciated. I'd just like to repeat that you should keep your devices backed up just in case as I don't want anyone pointing the finger at me for any problems.
I would recommend the 44 over the 48 though the size of the numbers is exactly the same on both.
Due to the naming convention, I have a feeling that the larger icons will only work on TomTom devices but the smaller ones have a chance on others (22x22 would be the best bet). _________________ Gerry

Nice Icons - are you able to include the Camera types (Gatso / Mobile / Specs) in the download for the 24x24 please. I think the newer Garmin units (7xx) seem to accept other ones I have used that are 24x24. |

You dont have to........
But it is better if you do
When you get an alert flash in the corner of your screen it is much clearer if you have the 44x as well |

Yes, from the download page:
Quote: | Once unzipped, the icon names are set by default to match those used by our database so can be copied straight into the map folder |

Popped the 24x24 speed zoned with kmh as well onto my ttg300 with latest tom tom home software and works a treat. I also have full USA & CANADA MAPS and saved the icons to that folder as well but won't be able to check them just yet Cheers OP!! _________________ TTG300 with version 7.903. ive got the 720 and ive kept both the standard icons, so they show up on the road and added the large 48 size icons so they display a bigger warning, works great. plus like this when you load next months data base you still keep the large icons and just over write the standard ones which is what we have always done. |

gray52...
Have a look at the icons in one of the menus now (eg "show poi category on map"). With 48x48 I think you'll find the icons look odd there. That's why Gerry made the 44x44 ones and recommends those instead. |
