Hi Guys

I've just bought a Tomtom One XL, downloaded and installed the Speed Camera Database from this website. Can I now delete the Tomtom camera alerts and if so how?

Entirely up to you.
You can run them side-by-side for a while (to see what a good decision you made getting the ones from here!)

When you get bored of the (occasional) double alerts, you can either just switch the TT-supplied ones off (on the TT go to the TT Plus Services menu / TT Safety Cameras / Disable Alerts).

Or you can remove them completely, either by manually removing the files, or probably easiest using TomTom Home (instructions are in the FAQs HERE) FAQ#13 describes the process. It was actually written for Home v1, but the principle is the same if you have Home 2.
