tomtom 920 versus 910???

Hi,

Can someone give me some advice.

Is the 920 better or worse than its predecessor the 910.

I am thinking of changing my 910 out for the latest one but dont want to part with the old if the new one is riddled with problems.

I would wait till your current one fails or is stolen before getting the new model.

New version only has a few plus point / gimmicks

Gyro's
Voice recognition
FM transmitter
no hard drive so can take more knocks

Real negative is the dash mount has no electrical connections so USB power cord has to be plugged direct into unit which is a pain as are the audio out which is on the unit bottom.

I am going to be upgrading my 910 to the 920 soon. The thing that swung it for me is the 920's size, despite having the larger screen it is so much slimmer than the 910 so I'm more likely to put it in my suit pocket rather than leave it in the car - I know that I should not be doing leaving it in the car, but the 910 is such a chunky monkey.
