Just checking here. What does the 720 do when not plugged into the PC? I realise it may appear a stupid question but I just want to check that this isn't just happening when you try to use the emulator to show the 720 screen on the PC.

At least it's one less thing to think about while trying to solve your problem. _________________ Gerry

You haven't said whether you are using HOME 2.2. How about re-installing HOME 2.1?
For a Manual Install there is also 7.221 for the x20s on my Web Updates Page, which you can Unzip to a Folder, then copy the Files and SubFolders to the 720 with Explorer. Overwrite any Files that it wants to. _________________ Richard

hi there,
I am really grateful for everyones hard work on this one
to tie in a few of your questions
a) I have tried a reset a couple of times
b)I started with TTHome 2.1 and then installed 2.2
c)when not connected to the computer, the 720 has the tomtom go 720 picture with a flashing red circle with a white cross and a hard drive icon.
d)and finally..... Oldboy your website is too popular as you have exceeded your bandwidth, so i will check for that manual file later
again, many thanks to you all
Cheers Tubbs |

I'm going to have to get a Web Site sorted.
Now, don't all rush at once. _________________ Richard
