|
|
Hi
I'm wondering if anyone knows of a North American source for less expensive mounting accessories for the Nuvi 750.
I could use a spare post, as is supplied with the Garmin bean bag mount.
https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=8100
But I don't need another bean bag. I already have 3 bean-bags between the Nuvi 750 and the iQue3600. And it's $39.99
I could also use another cradle, as ships with the complete suction cup mount. https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=11028 $ 47.73
It makes little sense to spend nearly $90 for two small pieces of plastic.
Does anyone know if there is a 3rd party source where I could get compatible parts for less? _________________ Garmin Nuvi 750 w/City Nav 10 N. America & 08 Europe

Have you looked at ProClip's range (Brodit). There is an ad to the right of this page, they are the US distributors for Brodit who have vast selection of mounts and accessories which include the 750. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Yes. Nothing. They appear to have custom stuff and not compatible parts that work with OEM parts. Also, one can't search by GPS model or even brand for items that would work with different brands of device. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 750 w/City Nav 10 N. America & 08 Europe

Garmin replied to an email I sent with my problem. They say that I need to buy the suction cup mount to get the extra cradle but they'd send me the other part I need no charge.
I found the suction cut mount on an on-line reseller for $32. So I got my cost down from $90 to $32. Not bad. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 750 w/City Nav 10 N. America & 08 Europe
