Has anybody bought a factory refurbished tt910.I've seen them advertised for £170 and wondered if it is worth buying one.I have an old tt300 and had no trouble with it at all and was wondering if it is worth taking the plunge.

Hi butcher, I picked up one of these for a family member from Halfords for £150. At first the sales assistant said there was no charger lead with it but then realised he had one out the back.
Well it's been almost 3 months and it hasn't missed a beat, ok it did have a few scratches on the trim but the screen was perfect.
All in all you have to ask yourself do i want a refurb/ display stock item or should i pay another 50-60 quid and get a 720.
If the decision is squarely on the condition and reliabilty of the 910's then i would say go for the refurbed model.

No new number and no probs with home except like a donut i helped my family member out and set up his device on my home set up, resulting in his device locking to my account so when i got the new maps they would only load onto his device.
after a few barneys with TomTom all i could do was set up a new email address for my device and get him to pay for my maps.

Think I'll bite the bullet and give it a go.
Thanks G0-GO-910.
