Is it just me? Despite full reception on Classic FM there has been no iTIS TMC information available in the south/south east of England today (3/2/08) - Dorking, Guildford, Portsmouth and so on. Nothing at all received (no journalistic information or other information) despite full TMC signal strength.

Nothing around the Maidstone/Ashford area either. The signal locks on to 100.9 tries to find info then moves on.

Thanks for confirming that it isn't just me.

Doesn't sound good.

Gareth.

I've been receiving messages OK here in North Lancashire/South Cumbria but signal strength has been well down on what it normally is, though that mighft be down to atmospherics, I guess.

Same here in Manchester this morning on 101.1Mhz.
Locks onto frequency but no info is received. Not even the one minute delays!

shame there isn't a website that can at least report the status of the service. After its supposed to be a hi-tech system.

Well I haven't tried it today but it would be good if anyone from TMC providers give us some info/feed back.

Working again here in Manchester at 10:30am. Looks like a blip on the system. All I need now is Tomtom to fix the bug on the 720 so the traffic info works.

I definitely had it on the 4th 8:30am to 9:15am in Suffolk. Very occasionally I've found the TomTom won't lock on and turning it on and off has then got a lock straight away. Beginning to wonder if it's actually Windows and not Linux inside Laughing
