HI, i need help with mygiude 3100, generally many things, now i have searched and searched this site and still can't find what i need so it's come down to asking.
i have added the extra buttons by amending the addon.txt however when i click on the movie button or mp3 there is no movie software installed, can somone point me in the direction and how to install once downloaded, I have already downloaded xmovie but it's a massive file and i don't know where to start. there has to be a simple way.

Hi all, another newbie here with another Myguide 3100 GPS!
From reading the above and a few forums it seems as if the myguide software is just rebranded IGO software, so ... does this mean that IGO update maps would just go straight on and work fine?? |

Hi all, another newbie here with another Myguide 3100 GPS!

Well the above doesn't seem correct, ive put the latest IGO maps on mine but when i switch it on now it says the licence isnt valid (or i dont have correct license).
Anyone any ideas?? |

The IGO software has certain ways of stopping people from updating the maps with unpurchased, and as such, illegal maps. The map has to agree with the licence file that has to agree with the hardware etc.
I believe that the maps can be legally updated, but you will probably either have to pay for them, or do an update from the manufacturer's (rebadger's) website |

Over the last 18 months or so, you seem to have had half a dozen different devices, none of which you were able to work with. Are you just plain unlucky, or are you lucky enough to keep finding new devices under the gooseberry bushes but without instruction manuals, or do you still need help on using the Search button at the top of the page? Strange.

Well, that last bit was - Search for MyGuide 3100 and read everything you find, there's quite a bit somewhere. And there's guidance on the speed cams if you're a subscribed member.
