PGPSW-SPEED-CAMS-xxxx.
Kind Regards

Where do you live, Blakey? If it's Keynsham, I'll come round and go through it with you - two old blokes with no idea is bound to be better than only one. _________________ Dennis

The Zip one is a ZIP file that contains the files you need. Essentially its a way of keeping multiple files together in one file.
The A4 folder one is the same file but opened (or UnZIPed).
You can delete the ZIP file and just work with the unzipped files. |

We ARE winning... We got past the download and un-zipping bit!
Onwards...
Sorry, I can't verify it personally as I haven't got a Navman!
But I THINK you may be worrying over nothing, as this picture in the ORIGINAL instructions (HERE) shows the first line highlighted when you go to 'save to device'.
Can you just try it as written and see what happens? |

The fact the first line is highlighted is irrelevant, simply use the "File/ Save To Device" option and the program will copy ALL the POI locations contained within the category to the device, if you have the single file download type that is all there is to do, if you have the consolidated by type download then you have to select each camera category in turn and use "File/ Save To Device" once for each category - Mike |

I think I might have cracked it after all this time thanks to all at pgpsw
for their patience the only file I haven't been able to load is the pmobile one as that comes up with an internal navman error .
gatso 194kb
mobile 361 kb
redlight 57kb
specs 17kb
temp 3kb
does that look about right to your reckoning if so thanks again for all your help I think I will give Navman a ring to see why this error message pops up on the pmobile file.
Kind Regards

It looks OK to me, for the pMobile fault (if you really want to fix this issue) you can try this method that Tim posted a while back within another thread - Mike
Tim Buxton wrote: | Try this, please. Open the file using Notepad or a similar plain text editor (it's important not to use Excel, Word, Wordpad, etc.) and delete [one] entry, then resave te file. It doesn't matter which entry you delete, just one complete line. Of course, if you know that you are unlikely to go anywhere near a particular site, choose that one to delete.
After you've deleted one entry, try and save the file to your device again. |

Yippee!!
Don't worry too much about the pMOBILES. Those were only included because a vocal minority wanted warnings of un-confirmed, un-verified mobile sites too.
It probably feels like you've been through the wringer now, but go and use it for a while and don't hesitate to come back with any more questions you might think of (we might even let you start a new topic for those! ). |

I have just come off the phone from Navman Technical and they asked me to go into notepad I tried both files this way one has nothing in it the other is full of cameras I tried transfering both files but I still get the same Navman internal error so the Navman tech lady said that the file must be corrupt, anyway I will try this for a while and see how it goes and thanks again for all your help it was very much appreciated

Well done BLKEY, glad you got there in the end. The help on this site is first class - in the early years, when I needed it, the people on site came through with what I needed to move from being a Muppet Class II to a Muppet Class I.
Have to say, though, I was sorta enjoying this thread...
