I've been using MN5 happily, but then I saw MN6 and liked the interface enough to upgrade it. Installed it and realized that it is insanely slow on my Eten G500, but then I saw that an update was available. Installed the update and was amazed at how fast it started working -- even faster than MN5. Problem is, after I restart my device -- MN6 never starts again. I tried reinstalling and it works without the update, but as I said, it is VERY SLOW. Update fixed the speed issue, but I basically have to reinstall every time I restart my PPC.
Anyone experienced the same problem? My solution for now is to go back to MN5. At least it works at reasonable speed. |

Yeah, by going back to version 5. It works exactly the same, just looks a bit worse.
MN6 was too expensive anyway. |

Thanks ;)
Not that I can afford the new version and have heard about the speed problems. Its quite annoying that they cannot update the maps only on these sorts of programs
So there isn't much I can do but use the old one until I get a suitably powerful PDA that can cope with the new faster one... |
