I recently upgraded my 500 to the latest software version 7.162. Since then I have found a small number of POI descriptions are corrupt .ie: a 30 Traffic camera is shown as O'R;A traffic light POI as @NR and there are others. Deleting them and re-adding makes no difference as they are still corrupted. Can anyone throw any light on
this please? I tried TomTom's website for help but got exactly nowhere! |

I don't know if it's the same problem, but check This Thread out. _________________ Richard

I have followed the thread and yes I did use POI Edit. I have been using POCKETGPSWORLD to refresh these POI's once I had deleted them but with the same result. Incidentally, where are these *.inf files located exactly? |

If you've got them, they will be in the same place as the other files for the POI (the .ov2, the .bmp and the optional .ogg) I.e. in the map folder. |
