Now, please Andy, how do I do the right thing with Audacity ...
I've got the Shostakovich Waltz 2 from the Jazz Suite. It opens in Audacity and plays fine. BUT it opens at 44,100Hz and I need it to be at 22,050. I'm sure you told me how to do it, but I can't remember and I've been struggling ever since I found this thread. My Wallace and Grommit is also in 44,100 and if I simply change the sample rate it plays slowly and sounds like me instead. |
I had to work it out from scratch myself (I use "Adobe "Audition" remember...)
You have to change the sample rate in the "Project Rate" box at bottom left, and then "Export as ogg" (or wav or whatever...) |

It oughtn't. The rules for sharing the PGPSW database don't change just because of the inclusion of this facility. It's meant to be used to share your own creations, not copyrighted ones. _________________ Tim |

How did you get that? It's not being offered on their web-site and HOME 1.5 which I have installed at present resolutely refuses to offer any updates? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Sorry about that Darren. Had the day off so been on here. All change tomorrow, doing a bit of what DennisN does, about 800 mile round trip to test my new-ish TTG 520T (getting paid for it of course). |

Not a problem, always good to know someone is on their toes! As it happened I was having lunch when then PR came through so I was a little slow off the starting blocks!
Mind you I've only just managed to get the update on my Mac! _________________ Darren Griffin |

Anyone else had this problem or found a solution | See my previous post (4:51pm) Mine required another file download (presumably the infamous XULrunner) which downloaded successfully for me (when I said Yes). _________________ Dennis

I'll leave it to Windows users to respond as it's likely the Mac version is different in this regard. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks Darren
Uninstalled and rebooted 3 times and it now asks for the file and is now working correctly.
