Did you buy the TomTom 720 or the TomTom 720T - the latter would come with the antenna in the box the former would not. |

Only the 720T comes with an antenna.
If that is what you paid for then take it back.
TT sell the RDS Antenna, for the basic 720, for £50. _________________ Richard

Mate you indeed are dead right my mistake, i misread the "items that should be in the box" list.
Whilst i'm at it how do i obtain a carrying case for the 720? |

You should try places like Halfords, Currys, Comet etc. if you want one there and then. Otherwise you could order it from TT or Amizon etc. _________________ NEW Tomtom GO 500 (hope it is good)

For traffic I would seriously consider using the plus services via GPRS. I use an old phone with a pay as you go SIM and it does not use much credit to be honest. And it's more reliable than the TMC aerial in the UK.
I also can use an iPod cable at the same time as traffic - something you cannot do with the aerial because it uses the same socket as the iPod adapter. |
