Is there a simple way to delete all "My Favorites" on the i3?
I know that pressing "back"+wheel +"power" will delete all user data, and that the POI loader can delete all POI info, but I just want to clear out favorites without having to go through one by one.
Thanks in advance |

Afraid not. Just tried it on my i3. You can copy the favs to your PC and edit the list then copy it back but it doesn't wipe out the old ones like POILoader with POIs or give you the facility to delete direct from the unit*

is pretty much the only way to do it. You'll end up with 5 Garmin Favourites once it resets but they'll probably be quicker to delete.
* Head down for someone, probably Andy_P2002 to come and proove me wrong.... |

we recently got rid (sold to wife's auntie) of our trusty i3 and replaced it with a shiny pink nuvi 200 so i can't even try to prove you wrong... like i said though, 'if i remember correctly' - chances are that i didn't!

The hard reset (ie back, wheel, and power) as you said. You'll clear out all the user defined data (so favourites and recent destinations), but not POIs (as they're stored as a file on the transflash card / internal memory. |

Isn't it just a case of loading a blank POI dataset, and then doing the aforementioned three button reset? |
