have downloaded poi pc sees my garmin but poiloader is just a screen that says welcome to poi there ARe no other options can anyone help please |

Can you post a screen shot?
Try re-downloading POILoader from Click Here and reinstalling it.
What resolution is your screen / monitor? |

Do you mean this sort of thing?
Have you moved the 'taskbar' from the bottom of the screen, or got the BBC News Ticker running - anything like that?
For some reason, these sort of things upset POI Loader. With the Windows 2000 theme selected, you can see enough of the buttons to use POI Loader (once you know what they do!). (As per image)
With the std Windows XP ("Happy Meal/Teletubby Hill") theme, there are no buttons at all! |

its exactly as the screen poictured above but cannot see any buttons at all i have changed resolutions backgrounds etc and re installed and it still wont work |

No, they don't seem to trigger the condition - it's things like moving the Taskbar or having programs locked to the top of the screen.
If you don't recognise any of these conditions, maybe you could post a link to a capture of the whole screen? |

do you use the microsoft office toolbar? i seem to recall this causing issues
