Trying to figure out how to do this on my ppc. In help is says to go to Overlay Properties/Position Properties/Velocity Vector. On my ppc I can't find any VV configurations in Position Properties or anywhere that I can find. thanks |

This refers to the PC Client not the PPC. I'm not sure that the velocity vetcor can be customised on the PPC client. _________________ Darren Griffin |

farwell,
inside the position icon, press & hold , a box will come up with the name "position", and the velocity vector can be changed in minutes, & color, also a range circle which puts a circle around the position will be displayed, and can be changed, note: this will not change the size of the position icon, but will draw a circle at user distance fron the current position.
(I had to look in the maptech pocket navigator BOOK for this, and it works on MM 4.21)

Great news! Thanks guys this helps a lot. I haven't checked back here in over a week for as I just assumed I couldn't change the vector. For hiking the default setting of 10 miles works however I mostly use MM in my Jeep offroad so the vector just goes across the entire screen when I'm moving over 10 mph. woo hoo not any more |
