Can I still install customised warnings for the poi's in the camera database??
I have a Tom Tom Go 500 with version 7.162 on it (updated recently).
Used to be able to download the data check file from the site but it doesnt go past versions 4.1???
Cheers Scott. |

Indeed you can but we no longer use the data.chk file method.
Now you can have a choice of alerts using a much better system available now, see:

Maybe I was a bit premature with the thank you's
Have placed the downloaded ogg files into the map folder along side my new speed camera poi's and when I try to select a warning sound to attatch to a camera poi they dont show up for selection... (just the default sounds)
Bring back the old datachk file method
Any suggestions pls? |

So long as you follow the directions to the letter all should work. The data.chk file is not supported in version 7. _________________ Darren Griffin |

"They don't show up for selection"....
Precicely!
If you follow the instructions exactly, you will see this is correct. |
