Is my TomTom knackered?? It won't switch on unless power is supplied to it. The battery is fully charged cos when I unplug it from me PC after switching it on and check the battery it's full. I did let the battery run flat but it should be alright now its charged. |

I had exactly the same problem after pressing the reset it was OK.
After a further bit of trial it seems that after you click on the disconnect button in the home software you need to let the XL reboot to the screen where it comes up with "Do you want to connect to computer" and press the no option. It has worked fine if I remember to do that every time. |

It's mentioned a couple of times in the forum...Remove SD card and keep the reset button pressed for 15 seconds, replace SD card and switch on, should work now. _________________ What car in front???
