tt go 720 startup problems

just had a go at dixons about this and they said i need an uplist number from tomtom,so that is my next step.
do's it always take ages to get through to tomtom support? it seems to always take 15-20 minutes to get through to someone.

Take it back to the shop, ask for the manager and state the device is not fit for the purpose it was purchased, demand a full refund and walk away from the store. Your contract is with the shop for at least the first 28 days, you are within this period by the sounds of things, the very least they should offer is a replacement device that works, if this is not offered demand your refund undr the sale of goods act.

Go and purchase another one from somewhere else with a more reputable customer support Dixons are pathetic in my opinion (and experiance so I simply don't shop there any more) - Mike

it was bought from dixon online on november 13th so unfortunately is outside the 28 day guarantee Crying or Very sad

just don't want to send it back to tomtom never to be seen again
