I heard so much about this for the 720 so i tried it and nothing happened except it crashed my tomtom and had to use a backup to get going again ..last night i tried it again and this time it really screwed up tomtom big time ,after doing a almost full backup it is now running again ..what i want to know is why is it doing that to my tomtom when it is a flashtool and everyone else seems to be getting on fine with it ..
oh as i heard people have success with the phone side that's why I wanted to try it _________________ TomTom 5001 |

Maybe their was a problem when you downloaded the flash tool. Try downloading it again and running it. Did you download it from the TT website. What is the problem you are having with the phone. _________________ NEW Tomtom GO 500 (hope it is good)

yep got it from tt website ,somewhere a post here gave a link to it
my major problem is the phone side with people not hearing me cos of a load noise ,the other is the speaker where the vioce goes wonky when the battery is flat ..I'm not so worried about this as it is only used while plugged in _________________ TomTom 5001 |

Noise/buzzing on handsfree is a known fault (design problem?)
Needs to go to TT for repair, or take back for replacement. |
